Beyond Exceptional aims to increase awareness, recognition and understanding of the strengths and gifts of neurodiverse individuals.
We wish to empower gifted and twice-exceptional individuals by providing bespoke services that support their unique learning needs.
What we do
At Beyond Exceptional, we see beyond the label, test result, and diagnosis to value and support the abilities and exceptionalities of gifted and twice-exceptional individuals.
Gifted refers to individuals who are considered advanced relative to their age peers in intellectual, creative, social, or physical ability domains. Twice-exceptional relates to gifted individuals with a diagnosed disability that impacts their learning needs (i.e., Specific Learning Difficulties [SLDs], autism, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder [ADHD], Oppositional Defiance Disorder [ODD], anxiety, and depression).
Beyond Exceptional works with these individuals and their networks to provide expertise and tailored support strategies that empower each person and facilitate a rich and meaningful life.
